BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)- The last LSU Presidential candidate will make his case for the job on Wednesday.
Dr. William Tate is the current Professor and Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of South Carolina.
During the first round of interviews Tate expressed, if elected he will work towards reopening the university by following COVID-19 mitigations by fall of 2021.
“I think we can have sporting events, I think we can still have those kinds of things and do them in a safe fashion,” Tate said.
The LSU Board of Supervisors is set to make a decision about who the next President of LSU is going to be on Thursday.
Tuesday’s forum with students and staff will be available above.
