39-year-old Anthony Graham, of Gonzales was hit by a vehicle around 8 p.m. on August 28.

Graham was struck while walking on LA 429 west of LA 431.

According to the Louisiana State Police, “the crash occurred as Graham was walking on LA 42 approximately 3 feet from the edge of the roadway.”

While Graham was walking on LA 429 west, a suspected 2008-2013 Grey Nissan Altima was heading in the same direction.

That vehicle “entered the curve and traveled off the roadway and struck Graham,” according to the Louisiana State Police.

The force of the crash hurled Graham into a nearby lawn.

Graham would die on September 2 from the injuries sustained in this crash.

Evidence collected by the Louisiana State Police leads them to believe that it was a 2008-2013 Grey Nissan Altima that hit Graham.

LSP says, “The Altima would have damage to the right front headlight and be missing the passenger side mirror.”
