BATON ROUGE (BRPROUD) – Gov. John Bel Edwards proclaimed July 28 as Opioid Crisis Awareness Day.
The livestream was hosted by Axis Behavioral Health and Recovery.
“Opioid deaths are surging across Louisiana, and many cases are linked to the synthetic drug fentanyl,” the post reads. “We can work together to raise awareness and connect those who need help to life-saving resources.”
