New Orleans’ Tricentennial is the theme of this year’s Christmas at the Mansion celebration.

Santa and Mrs. Claus are joining Gov. John Bel Edwards and First Lady Donna Edwards at the Governor’s Mansion starting at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4.

The Governor’s Office said, “everyone will be treated to a beautiful evening of music by the Kids’ Orchestra, holiday treats and a special visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus.”

Invited guests of the Governor and First Lady along with family and friends are expected to attend today’s event.

According to the Governor’s Office, “Christmas trees inside (seven) and outside (three) are decorated with hundreds of ornaments and lights and the Louisiana Black Bear, Brown Pelican and a Menorah have been added to the displays along Capitol Lake.”

The Governor’s Office said attendees can give donations that will go to “the fight against human trafficking.”

The Governor’s Mansion is located at 1001 Capitol Access Rd.
