Greenwell Springs Road Library to have change in operation hours

Local News

The Greenwell Springs Road Regional Branch Library, 11300 Greenwell Springs Rd., will be closed from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. this Friday, August 9, to allow for removal of the dust wall that separates the renovated Phase 1 area from the area currently open to the public.

We expect to reopen from 2 until 6 p.m. that day.

As contractors prepare for Phase 2 of the construction project, there will be other, temporary disruptions.  While the branch will remain open with regular hours Wednesday, August 15, through Friday, August 16, bookshelves will be inaccessible for browsing and service will be limited; however, Wi-Fi and public computers will be available. Staff also will pull requests for books and other materials for patrons to use and check out.

Finally, the branch will be closed all day Monday, August 19, and Tuesday, August 20, for construction of the Phase 2 dust wall.

All other Library locations will remain open with normal hours of operation during this time. The Digital Library is available 24 / 7 online at www.ebrpl.com/DigitalLibrary. All you need is your Library card to access FREE resources.
