HARAHAN, La. (WDSU) — The Harahan Police Department’s top leaders are at home recovering from the coronavirus.

Police Chief Tim Walker and Assistant Chief Bryan St. Cyr tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a department spokesperson.

That same spokesperson said the entire staff has been tested, which includes all officers, staffers and jailers.

Everyone else in the department has, so far, tested negative.

Walker and St. Cyr are quarantining at their homes following all safety protocols.

Both are reported to have mild symptoms.
