BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Donations can be made to the families of the Baton Rouge Police Department officers who died in a helicopter crash on Sunday, March 26.

The officers killed were identified as Sgt. David Poirrier, 47, and Cpl. Scotty Canezaro, 38. Both were part of the police department’s Air Support Unit. BRPD said Poirrier was a 17-year veteran and Canezaro was a 16-year veteran.
