Hurricane relief giveaway announced for Thursday

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPOUD) – For those who are dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, a Hurricane Relief Giveaway will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Charles R. Kelly Community Center on Thursday, Sept. 2.

The center is located at 3535 Riley St, Baton Rouge, LA 70805.

Free food and water will be given out while they last.

This giveaway is hosted by Rep. Ted James, Councilwoman Erika L. Green, Mayor Sharon Weston Broome, Project 70805, Councilman Cleve Dunn Jr., Mayor Pro-Temp LaMont Cole, Bigger Than Me, Then Hollins Law Firm, The Langston Galloway Foundation, and Turkey Leg Hut of Houston, Texas.
