BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Residents in Iberville Parish have the option for a home oxygen tank exchange provided through the Louisiana Department of Health at the Ochsner Medical Complex in Iberville.

The location is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week for Iberville residents to bring their empty home oxygen tanks to swap for full tanks.

When arriving at the OMC in Iberville, enter through the emergency entrance and alert the desk for the tank exchange. No full tank will be given out without providing an empty one. The exchange is free.

A valid driver’s license or ID card with either proof of insurance or residency in Iberville Parish is needed.

Residents in other parishes should dial 2-1-1 to find the tank exchange location serving their parish.

On Friday morning, President Biden made his way to Louisiana to tour some of the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Ida.
