IBERVILLE PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) – Deputies with the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating after a fatal shooting on Friday, August 11.
Sheriff Brett Stassi said the shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. Friday on Folse Street in Plaquemine, La.
The sheriff’s office identified Vicimin Stevens, 39, as the suspect and charged him with second-degree murder. Stassi said the incident was the result of an altercation that happened in the street.
Information about the victim’s identity was not immediately available.
