The 2017 Attic Trash & Treasure Sale organized by the Inner Wheel Club of Baton Rouge will benefit local charities including Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge. The sale will take place on March 10-12 in the old Mervyns at Cortana Mall. Admission is free. 
Inner Wheel of Baton Rouge started the Attic Trash and Treasure Sale in 1991 and has raised more than $2,000,000 for local charities. In 2016, the sale raised almost $200,000. Items for the sale come from generous local businesses, estate sales, and individual donations. 
The Inner Wheel Club of Baton Rouge is a non-profit organization dedicated to service and friendship.  Since 1990, Inner Wheel Baton Rouge has worked in the Baton Rouge community to raise funds for area non-profit through the “Attic Trash and Treasure Garage Sale” which is usually held in March.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Habitat brings together people with resources and people in need to build simple, decent, affordable houses. The houses are sold to those in need at no profit, through no-interest loans. Habitat of Greater Baton Rouge was founded in 1989 and has built and renovated more than 330 homes in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
