Interview: Dr. Ibrahima Seck discusses how slavery impacted Louisiana

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) — Even though slavery started 400 years ago, the pain and agony our ancestors suffered is still prevalent today.

During our digital town hall Color Crossroads- Divided in Louisiana, we spoke with Dr. Ibrahima Seck who is the Director of Research at the Whitney Plantation.

He explained why we can never forget the trauma enslaved people suffered.
