LIVONIA, La. (BRPROUD) – The Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office and Pointe Coupee Parish School Board are investigating an incident involving a gun at Livonia High School.
Earlier this week, a report came in about a student having a gun on campus.
A school resource officer immediately went to investigate the report.
According to the Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office, the school resource officer “immediately found and confiscated a pellet pistol from an individual.”
The sheriff’s office confirmed that the weapon did not have any pellets in it when it was confiscated at the school.
