ASCENSION PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — The KC Road Bridge was reopened Wednesday after recent closures due to repairs.
Parish officials warn drivers that barricades are in place on the west curb area since guard rail installation has yet to be completed. However, the guard rail’s construction should be completed by Friday, Aug. 18.
“Please note that there is a load restriction on the bridge of 30 tons for single axle and 44 tons for multi-axle vehicles,” said Ascension Parish Government in an update on social media. “Your patience while the bridge has been under construction is greatly appreciated.”
