Knock Knock Children’s Museum is celebrating 14 years of volunteer labor that brought the museum to existence.

Since its inception, over 500 volunteers have contributed their time and talent in support of the educational haven that opened on August 22, 2017.

LSU presented Knock Knock with a “Happy” award last night. The “Happy” award was created to honor faculty, staff, students and community partners who demonstrate dedicated excellence in service-learning practices.

Monica Dugas, Knock Knock’s volunteer manager tells us ““Knock Knock Museum is so honored to receive this wonderful recognition. We take great pride in making sure that our volunteer opportunities provide not only a chance to help the museum and serve others, but also give our volunteers an opportunity to learn.”
