Knock Knock Children’s Museum’s new Executive Director to hold first news conference Thursday

Peter Claffey, the new Executive Director at the Knock Knock Children’s Museum in Baton Rouge, is scheduled to hold his first news conference Thurdsay morning. 

Claffey has more than 20 years working in museums, specifically children’s museums.  He has spent the last four years working with children’s museums in Texas and says he is excited and looking forward to continuing to grow the young minds of children in the Baton Rouge metro area. 

“I feel like it’s been a super friendly community and we’re really excited to move here as a family and about this opportunity” Claffey said.  “We’re here to entrench ourselves in this Baton Rouge community, come in as a supportive player and just get with everybody, learn what’s going and help.”

Claffey’s news conference is set for 8:30 Thursday morning and it is open to the public.
