BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Louisiana Office of Tourism has released a schedule for public meetings regarding the Birding Trails across the state and how they can be improved.

The initial meeting for the birding trails were held last July, these meetings will serve as follow-ups to those, which will take place Aug. 1-5, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans, Natchitoches, and Shreveport.

Officials from the Office of Tourism say most of the work for the birding trail has been complete since the first meetings. With the follow up meetings, staff from the Office of Tourism will give updates on the work.
