LADOTD launches public input poll for new City Park Lake bridge

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development invites the public to participate in the selection of four design concepts for the new I-10 bridge that will span City Park Lake in Baton Rouge.

Segment 1 of this project extends from west of Washington Street eastward to the Perkins Road
ramps and motorists that are expected to cross I-10 can enjoy a lakeview when heading towards Louisiana State University. For westbound travelers, the bridge will set the arrival in downtown Baton
Rouge.

The new City Park Lake bridge project is expected to be the trademark element. There are also three monument tower designs presented as part of the bridge design.

The online poll will be active from Wednesday, Aug. 4 until midnight on Tuesday, Aug. 31.
