All eyes are on the Louisiana State Capitol.
Thursday is the final day of our second special session to plug the holes in our budget and it looks like our lawmakers have a marathon day of legislation to look forward to.
No one knows for sure what cuts and what increases can we expect to see, but lawmakers have until midnight to figure it out.
Just walking the halls you can tell that just about everyone here have hit a wall.
Moral is pretty low an the house and senate are still working to fill the hole in our state’s budget.
With our first special session, the regular session followed by another special session, these lawmakers have definitely put the hours in.
This legislature has served more consecutive weeks then any other house and senate in Louisiana history.
They definitely still have a lot of work to do.
Rest assured whatever is in place at mid-night tonight will effect everyone in Louisiana.
