ADDIS, La. (BRPROUD) – The Addis Police Department and West Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office responded to an unusual call on Sunday night.
Or maybe it is not so unusual anymore?
The call stated that an alligator was under a carport.
Members of law enforcement arrived around 6 p.m. at the subdivision behind The First Bank on LA 1 at Chris Dr.
It took around 30 minutes to tie up the gator and pull him out from under a vehicle.
Authorities wrangled the gator and Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries was responsible for relocating the reptile.
Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries arrived at the scene about thirty minutes after the alligator was seized by law enforcement.
