LDH opens two new COVID-19 testing sites in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Louisiana Department of Health has opened two new COVID-19 test sites this week.

The Louisiana Leadership Institute, which is located at 5763 Hooper Road, will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31.

LSU Mini Barn is the second location that has opened for vaccines and testing. The mini barn is located at 90 AG Center Drive and will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31.

Antigen and PCR testing are available at both sites. Online pre-registration preferred.

LDH is recommending testing for individuals experiencing symptoms or exposed to COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status.
