BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – LDH says, “due to a processing error in the electronic lab reporting system, LDH will report a backlog of 2,538 COVID cases on 69,125 tests reported to the state.”
There has been an increase of 34 deaths in the state over the last 24 hours.
There are 4,814 new coronavirus cases in the state, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

10% of the cases reported to the state today were in congregate settings.
The Louisiana Department of Health also reported that there have been 6,233 deaths total in the state from the novel coronavirus.
There are now 972 COVID-19 patients in hospitals and 101 COVID-19 patients on ventilators.
There are now 207,039 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state of Louisiana, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

As of Monday, November 16, 185,960 people are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.
