LDH: State confirms 25 new COVID-19 deaths over the weekend

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – There has been an increase of 25 deaths in the state since Friday, April 9.

There are 999 new coronavirus cases in the state, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The Louisiana Department of Health also reported that there have been 10,241 deaths total in the state from the novel coronavirus.

There are now 383,199 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state of Louisiana, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

There are now 308 COVID-19 patients in hospitals.

There are now 44 COVID-19 patients on ventilators in the state.

As of the last update, there have been 2,255,300 Total COVID-19 Doses Administered in the state.
