LDH: State is now under 600 COVID-19 Patients in Hospitals

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – There has been an increase of 21 deaths in the state since Tuesday, March 2.

There are 582 new coronavirus cases in the state, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The Louisiana Department of Health also reported that there have been 9,668 deaths total in the state from the novel coronavirus.

There are now 371,100 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state of Louisiana, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

There are now 588 COVID-19 patients in hospitals.

There are now 78 COVID-19 patients on ventilators in the state.

As of March 1, 415,954 people are presumed to have recovered from COVID-19.
