LDH: State reports over 700 new COVID-19 cases since yesterday

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – There has been an increase of 11 deaths in the state since Tuesday, April 6.

There are 719 new coronavirus cases in the state, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

The Louisiana Department of Health also reported that there have been 10,185 deaths total in the state from the novel coronavirus.

There are now 381,721 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state of Louisiana, according to the Louisiana Department of Health.

There are now 301 COVID-19 patients in hospitals.

There are now 46 COVID-19 patients on ventilators in the state.

As of the last update, there have been 2,045,266 Total COVID-19 Doses Administered in the state.
