Learn how to make fluid, intriguing forms of garden containers out of old towels and washcloths.  Sounds strange and/or impossible?  Well, it isn’t at all.

Cathy Cashio of the Herb Society of America-Baton Rouge Unit will be teaching this very interesting technique on Sunday, May 19, 1 to 4 p.m. at the Pavilion at the LSU AgCenter Botanical Gardens at Burden, 4560 Essen Lane.

The class is limited but there are a few spaces left.  You can see photos of some of the possible shapes you can make on the Baton Rouge Unit website, www.hsabr.org.  You must register and pay online (www.hsabr.org).  Member cost is $10, and nonmember cost is $15.

After you register, you will be sent information on what you must bring to the class, including a form, a towel and/or washcloth.  You will also receive the recipe and instructions so you can continue using this technique yourself.

If you have any questions, contact Mary Williams, 414-526-3016.
