LIST: Approved trick-or-treating hours in Louisiana parishes

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – With Halloween quickly approaching, parishes are announcing approved times for trick-or-treaters to walk around neighborhoods and collect as many treats as possible. Halloween is Sunday, Oct. 31.

Ascension Parish:

During the Ascension Parish Council meeting on Thursday, Oct. 7, members approved Sunday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Halloween trick-or-treating hours.

Assumption Parish:

Trick-or-treating hours on Sunday, Oct. 31 will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

East Baton Rouge Parish:

Trick-or-treat hours for the City of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish are set for 6 – 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2021.

Livingston Parish:

The Livingston Parish Council voted to authorize a variance of Section 50-14 of the Code of Ordinances to change the calendar day and hours of this year’s Trick or Treat’ in Livingston Parish.

The day has been changed to Saturday, Oct. 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This date includes French Settlement, Town of Livingston, and areas outside of municipal limits within Livingston Parish.

Trick-or-treating will take place on Sunday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for Denham Springs and City of Walker.

St. John the Baptist Parish:

Trick-or-treating hours will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31.

St. Landry Parish:

St. Landry Parish Government set the trick-or-treating time to begin at 5 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.

St. Martin Parish:

Sheriff Becket Breaux announced that trick-or-treat times for those living in the unincorporated areas of St. Martin Parish, along with those living in the Stephensville/Belle River area will be observed on Sunday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Pointe Coupee Parish:

Trick-or-treating hours for the areas outside of New Roads, Livonia, Fordoche, and Morganza will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 31.

West Baton Rouge Parish:

Trick-or-treating hours will be on Sunday, Oct. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
