Livingston couple charged with several sex crimes against children ordered not to contact victims

Livingston Parish, La. (LOCAL 33)(FOX 44)- The Livingston couple charged with several counts of child pornography appeared in court Thursday for a protective order hearing.

The judge ordered Cynthia Perkins and her husband, former Livingston Parish Deputy, Dennis Perkins not to contact any of the victims they’re accused of abusing. That order also includes phone calls.

The Perkins’ were arrested weeks ago, following a Louisiana State Police probe investigating sex crimes against children. The couple was charged with 60 counts of child pornography each as well as counts of first-degree rape. Meanwhile, Dennis Perkins faces additional charges for voyeurism and obscenity.
