WALKER, La. (BRPROUD) – Two people were arrested after the Walker Police Department identified a missing woman whose body was found Thursday morning.

Police said the body of Sarah Santini, 60, of Walker was found off LA 63 just north of Livingston in a rural area near the woods on a dirt road. Santini was believed to have been missing since Oct. 7.

On Friday, police announced that they had arrested two men from Ascension Parish. Bobby Schneider, 30, was charged with second-degree murder and unlawful disposal of human remains. He is being held in the Livingston Parish Detention Center and police said he was already in jail on unrelated charges.

Police also arrested Gregory Baker, 56, and charged him with accessory to second-degree murder and unlawful disposal of human remains. He is being held in the Livingston Parish Detention Center, police said.

According to police, all three people were acquaintances. Santini’s death is still under investigation.
