LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) – A Livingston Parish deputy was fired after an arrest, the sheriff confirmed Friday.
Sgt. Clint Gray, 50, is no longer a member of the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office after an overnight arrest. Gray was charged with DWI, hit and run, resisting an officer and careless operation.
The sheriff’s office said Gray was in his own car at the time and off-duty, adding that there were no injuries in the incident. He had been an LPSO deputy since 2001.
Sheriff Jason Ard said, “This is certainly disappointing news. He is a veteran of the LPSO and his conduct is unacceptable.”
Gray was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center and was released after posting bail.
Louisiana State Police is leading agency investigating.
