DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (BRPROUD) — The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting at an apartment complex that happened Friday evening.
According to the sheriff’s office, around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to a reported shooting at the Parc at Denham Springs Apartments.
Sheriff Jason Ard said when deputies arrived, they learned the shooting was between two unknown males and an unidentified vehicle. All suspects fled the scene before deputies arrived.
According to Ard, multiple shell casings were found on the scene and four apartments (two unoccupied and two occupied) were struck by projectiles.
No injuries have been reported at this time. Deputies searched the area, interviewed witnesses and are working to gather any video evidence to investigate further.
