Businesses surrounding the Tiger Stadium are preparing for LSU’s home opener against Southeastern this Saturday!
BRProud.com caught up with Dustin Loveless, general manager of Walk On’s Bar on Burbank Drive, who tells us he’s expecting to serve nearly 10,000 fans.
“It’s electric. From the moment before we open the doors. We get our team in here early, get them all fired up. We drink a good bit of Redbull,” said Loveless.
“We play some games and as soon as we open those doors people are already waiting outside, waiting to get some great food and start the party.”
Brooklyn Wagoner, a restaurant server who’s celebrating her third football season, tells us she agrees.
“Honestly, I love the atmosphere,” said Wagoner.
Wagoner also tells us she sees her regular customers almost every game day.
One of those customers is Ryan Moan-Toe.
“I mean, it is a game day tradition to be in Walk Ons and there’s no better place to come before and especially after a win tomorrow,” said Ryan.
Immediately following the game, “Where Y’acht” will perform a live 30-minute segment.
We’re told Walk On’s will remain open until people start leaving.
