Local Elementary School opening new Creative Smart Lab

Starting today students at Park Forest Elementary Creative Sciences & Arts Magnet School will have access to new learning materials. 

At 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 22, a ribbon cutting ceremony will mark the official opening of the Creative SmartLab.

According to the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, “the Creative SmartLab is a part of the new MSAP (Magnet Schools Assistance Program) Grant at Park Forest Elementary Creative Sciences and Arts Magnet.”

The MSAP Grant allowed for the creation of the Creative SmartLab.

The EBR Parish School System said, “the lab will allow students to explore robotics, software engineering, mechanics and structures, circuitry, scientific data and analysis, alternative energy, computer graphics, and digital media arts.”

Park Forest Elementary School is located at 10717 Elain Dr.
