Local group to honor veterans with wreath hanging ceremony

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Blue Star Mothers Baton Rouge chapter will put wreaths on 5,400 graves at the Baton Rouge National Cemetery.

Blue Star Mothers will be hosting the Wreaths Across America Ceremony in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Dec 18 at 10:45 a.m. Blue Star Mothers is asking the public to help hang as many wreaths as possible by buying a fifteen-dollar wreath. The organization is also asking for volunteers to help hang wreaths. Families are invited to attend the ceremony. The cemetery is located at 220 N 19th Street in Baton Rouge, La.
