BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – “BR Answer the Call” and Peyton Murphy of the Murphy Law Firm are giving 200 dinners to front-line workers, doctors and nurses Thursday, Aug. 19.
Peyton and BR Answer the Call will be at Ochsner Health Center on O’Neal Lane providing food from Serops and Bistro Byronz and desserts from local praline maker, Ms. Suzanne Kimball. Their mission is to also help local restaurants that have been affected by COVID-19.
BR Answer the Call is a Baton Rouge-based nonprofit that provides meals, care packages, and appreciation posters for hospitals and healthcare workers.
Throughout the pandemic, Peyton Murphy and the Murphy Law Firm made an effort to keep the community safe by giving away PPEs, meals and care packages to local churches, non-profits, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities.
Peyton is proud to have donated the following to the Baton Rouge Community:
- Over 78,000 protective masks and face shields
- Over 100 gallons of hand sanitizer
- Over 10,000 pairs of protective gloves
- Over 2000 boxes of produce/groceries
- Over 700 bags of dry and canned goods to Hope Ministries
