BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – BRPD Chief Murphy Paul is joining other local leaders at an unveiling on Tuesday afternoon.
The unveiling is taking place at BPRD HQ and it will elaborate on “the Sherwood Forest Crime District Camera Program and the Connect Blue Baton Rouge Directory,” according to the mayor’s office.
These individuals are joining Chief Paul at Tuesday’s event:
- Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome
- Gary Patureau of the Sherwood Forest Crime District
- BRPD Lt. Joel Callahan, Commander of the Real Time Crime Center
The mayor’s office says, “these initiatives are connecting privately owned surveillance cameras and license plate readers to the Baton Rouge Police Department, leveraging technology and community partnerships to fight crime.”
The unveiling is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
