BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – A nonprofit organization with a mission to help grieving parents will hold a volunteer workshop on Saturday, Jan. 22.

Born with Angel Wings provides burial garments to families who have infants “that earned their wings at birth.” The workshop will have volunteers create Angel Boxes, a kit that includes angel gowns, tiny flannel diapers, no-sew hats, crochet booties, crochet blankets and matching bracelets for the mother and the baby. The gowns are made out of donated wedding dresses.

Volunteers are asked to bring a lunch and a pair of scissors. Masks will be required for all volunteers.

The workshop will be held at the Jones Creek Library which is located at 6222 Jones Creek Road in Baton Rouge.
