Holy Family School – Port Allen

PORT ALLEN, La. (BRPROUD) – Students at Holy Family School have been doing what they can to thank the linemen who came from all over to help after Hurricane Ida.

Some eighth graders made sandwiches and wrote thank you cards.

The food and thank you notes were both delivered to linemen.

These pictures below show linemen from Alabama and Texas receiving the thank you cards.

The two crews are made up of linemen from AMP Utility in Corpus Christi, Texas and PowerGrid Sources in Hartselle, AL.

The crew leader for AMP Utility is Joey Phillips.

Phillips is a Port Allen native and parent of a student at Holy Family, according to Holy Family School.

The Bears want to send one last BIG thank you to all the linemen who helped get Louisiana moving again.
