ST. FRANCISVILLE, La. (BRPROUD) – Members of the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office and local 4-H club made sure those in need did not go hungry.

Specifically, members of WFPSO TRIAD spearheaded this day of giving back.

Joe Kelley, WFPSO TRIAD Deputy, said, “Bihm Equipment Co. of Port Allen bought a pig at the 4-H sale and donated the meat to the TRIAD program this year. We are extremely grateful for their donation.”

On a recent day, that pig was distributed to families in the community.

Sheriff Spillman said, “We’re grateful to our local youth for their partnership in our TRIAD program. Their generosity toward this program goes a long way in helping the elderly and needy in our parish.”

Whether before or during the COVID-19 pandemic, the main objective of the TRIAD officers is to keep an eye on and help the elderly in the parish.
