Louisiana State Police gives three ways to donate to family of Trooper killed Saturday

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Here is how to donate to the family of Master Trooper Adam Gaubert, who was killed in his patrol car on Saturday during a manhunt for a suspect involved in crimes in Ascension and Livingston parishes.

The Louisiana State Troopers Association – Louisiana Troopers Charities is a community service project that offers assistance to Troopers and their families through a number of internal services such as hospitalization benefits, legal representation and financial counseling during times of family crisis.

Louisiana Troopers Charities is the official way to make monetary donations for anyone who wants to donate to Gaubert’s family.

An official PayPal link has been set up, but there are other ways to donate. Donations can be made by a check. LSP said to make the check payable to Louisiana Troopers Charities with Gaubert Family in the memo line. The check can be sent to the LSP office located at 8120 on Jefferson Hwy in Baton Rouge, La 70809.

Another way to donate is by calling Louisiana State Police at (225)-928-2000 to give a donation by credit card.
