BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Louisiana State University Police Department (LSUPD) is investigating an alleged rape that happened Saturday at an on-campus apartment.
According to LSUPD, 19-year-old Daniel Cressy invited the victim to his apartment under a false name and started touching her. She asked him to stop and Cressy allegedly got on top of her and forced her to perform oral sex. Cressy then kicked the victim out of his dorm.
Cressy was questioned by police and denied any sexual activity. LSUPD said when Cressy learned there was evidence of the assault, he began to change his story. Cressy was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and charged with third-degree rape.
