A man who was accused of shooting at a Baton Rouge Police officer is a free man on Tuesday morning.
Raheem Howard was released from the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison a little after midnight on Tuesday, October 2.
Howard was arrested in August after being accused of shooting at BRPD officer Yuseff Hamadeh during a traffic stop.
Howard was charged with Attempted Murder but those charges were subsequently dropped.
District Attorney Hillar Moore said there was not enough evidence to support the charges against Howard.
