BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – One man was injured by a bullet that ricocheted off the ground at a home in the 7000 block of Burbank Drive on Wednesday, March 1. The shooting took place around 9 p.m.

The man who was hit “showed up at the residence unannounced and uninvited,” according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. Officials said what followed was a fight that started out with words being exchanged and ended up becoming physical.
