Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is bringing recognition to the 100 Black Men of
Metro Baton Rouge
at 12 p.m. on Monday, April 30. 

Mayor Broome will honor the organization at a news conference attended by founding and current members of the 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge.

According to 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge, the intention of the news conference is to highlight the organization’s “25 years of service to the Baton Rouge African-American community through scholarships, mentorship, economic empowerment and health care.”

Mayor Broome will be joined at the news conference by the President of 100 Black Men, Fred Sibley as well as Mr. Michael R.D. Adams, Esq., President-Elect of 100 Black Men and Mr. Trey Godfrey, Executive Director of 100 Black Men.

The 25th Anniversary of 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge news conference will be held at 2050 N. Foster Drive.
