BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD)- Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, along with the Mayor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (MOHSEP), the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and other Local and State Partners, will hold a virtual meeting regarding Hurricane Ida on Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
Representatives from these agencies will be on the call to answer any questions regarding Hurricane Ida.
“We are working collaboratively with our local, state, and federal partners to ensure our residents have clarity on vital resources as we work to recover from the impacts of Hurricane Ida,” said Mayor Broome. “I encourage our residents to join us to learn more about the resources available to them, eligibility, and how they can ensure their needs are met throughout this process. It’s important for us to work collaboratively to ensure our community recovers quickly, and East Baton Rouge Parish comes back stronger than ever.”
