Mayor-President walks neighborhoods ahead of City of St. George vote

BATON ROUGE, La. (NBC Local 33) (FOX 44) — East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome canvassed an area of the parish that is targeted to become a part of the new City of St. George, should voters vote in favor of the proposal on Oct. 12.

While the majority of homeowners did not answer a knock at the door from the Mayor, those whom she did converse with shared a variety of sentiments on the proposed city.
