Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine available to Plaquemine residents on Tuesday

PLAQUEMINE, La. (BRPROUD) – If you live in Plaquemine and want to get a COVID-19 vaccine, the Plaquemine Lions Club is making it easy for you to get the shot.

The vaccines will be administered on Tuesday, April 27, at a community vaccine event.

The Plaquemine Community Vaccine Event is taking place at the Plaquemine Lions Club from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

These organizations are working with the Plaquemine Lions Club on this vaccine event:

  • Plaquemine Fire Department
  • Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office
  • State Fire Marshal’s Office

The above organizations are offering “the community, free Moderna vaccines.”

If you get the first vaccine on Tuesday, the same team is going to come back in four weeks and give you the second dose.

The Plaquemine Lions Club is located at 3688 Sugar Plantation Pkwy. in Addis.
