Month-long narcotics investigation yields four arrests

KENTWOOD, La. (BRPROUD) – A month-long narcotics investigation by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) yielded four arrests.

TPSO agents investigated Kentwood individuals allegedly selling illegal prescription medications, methamphetamine and marijuana. TPSO conducted two search and seizure warrants on two residences on Friday, Aug. 13.

Arrests from TPSO investigation include:

  • Tommie Lee, 46, of Kentwood. He was arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession of illegal narcotics (to include marijuana), possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and for being a fugitive of another jurisdiction.
  • Michael White, 34, of Kentwood. He was arrested and charged with possession of illegal narcotics and two counts possession of stolen property.
  • Curtis Bonds, 34, of Kentwood. TPSO said Bonds was occupying the residence of White at the time of the search. He was arrested and charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, and four counts of possession of illegal prescription narcotics.
  • Warren Brad Travis, 43, of Kentwood. TPSO said Travis was occupying the residence of White at the time of the search. He was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
