BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — You may notice a new look on a wall along Highland Road when you’re driving through North Baton Rouge.
The Walls Project teamed up with the Capital Area Transit System to highlight the future of transportation in Baton Rouge. The mural was put up on the walls of a custom car shop.
The owner says he’s always seen the building as a blank canvas and wanted to show what the city could be if it addresses the gaps in transportation access.
“They worked with us to create a design that fits the needs of the city… Not just us, not just them, but fits the needs that tell a story,” said Marcus Toussant, owner of Toussant Customs.
You can check it out for yourself at the corner of Highland Road and East Washington Street.
