DONALDSONVILLE, La. (BRPROUD) — A grand jury indicted a Napoleonville man accused of a November fatal shooting in Donaldsonville.
28-year-old Carlos Nicholas was indicted for second-degree murder, according to District Attorney Ricky Babin.
On Friday, Nov. 12, Ascension Parish Sherif’s Office deputies responded to a shooting shortly after 10 p.m. on 3rd Street where 39-year-old James Bell was found shot to death. Nicholas was arrested and booked into Ascension Parish Jail in connection to the shooting days later.
